Jennifer Abernathy

Jennifer Abernathy currently serves as the Director of Data Privacy & Compliance Counsel at AAR and as an instructor for the Retirement Industry Trust Association, where training focuses on advanced IRA prohibited transactions and unrelated business income tax (UBIT). In addition, Jennifer is the Founder and Attorney at Abernathy Law Office, LLC. Previous experience includes a role as Data Privacy Attorney at Legility and Chief Compliance Officer & Associate General Counsel at Millennium Trust Company. Jennifer began their legal career as a Law Clerk at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office and has experience in compliance from positions at Magnetar Capital and Omeda. Educational qualifications include a degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology, and Western Michigan University.
