Bret Stockton has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Bret began their career as an Inside Estimator at Republic Doors and Frames in 1994. From 1995 to 1997, they worked as a Residential Supervisor at Youth Villages, where they supervised staff and resident activities and implemented a campus-wide crisis support network. Bret then served as a Memphis Boys Town Teacher from 1997 to 1999. In 1999, Bret became the Recruiting Manager at Youth Villages, where they implemented a strategic recruiting cycle to improve the quality of new hires. From 2005 to 2012, they held the position of Director of Development and Government Relations at Youth Villages, leading the organization's national expansion strategy and conducting market analyses and government relations activities. In 2013, Bret worked as the Director of Development at Necco, where they built strategies for fundraising, donor relations, and event planning. Bret also introduced a national CRM system to the organization and successfully raised funds for a capital campaign. In 2013, Bret joined ReTrans, Inc. as the Director of National Accounts, where they worked closely with clients to understand their supply-chain behaviors and managed customer relationships. Currently, Bret is a Partner at 4.0 Logistics.

Bret Stockton completed their secondary education at Brentwood High School from 1986 to 1990. After graduating from high school, they pursued higher education at Bethel University, College of Professional Studies, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and History from 1990 to 1995.
