Margot Hoekstra

Margot Hoekstra began their work experience in 1991 at Trendsoft as a Developer. Margot then moved on to Resultum B.V. in 1995 and worked as a Software Specialist until 2000. In 2000, they worked at Pulse Interactive as an Executive Producer before joining Transtrack as a Consultant in 2001. From 2002 to 2007, Margot worked at Steinhoff Asia Pacific Ltd as an IT Systems and Development Manager. In 2007, they joined Comops as a Software Development Manager until 2008. Currently, Margot is working at Retriever Communications as a Business Analyst / Project Manager.

Margot Hoekstra attended De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1993 to 1996. Margot did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during this period. In addition, they obtained several certifications from The Interaction Design Foundation. In 2019, they obtained the certification in "Get Your Product Used: Adoption and Appropriation!", followed by certifications in "Psychology of Interaction Design: The Ultimate Guide," "How to Create Intuitive Products by Imitating Physicality," and "The Brain and Technology: Brain Science in Interface Design" in 2018. Prior to these, in 2017, they obtained the certification in "Mobile User Experience (UX) Design."
