Henje Huotari has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. In 2011, they started as a Sales Assistant at MSCHIC Cosmetics Oy, where they worked for a year. In 2015, they joined Dressmann AS as a Salesperson, responsible for customer service, store tasks, and visual merchandising. In 2016, they became a Salesperson at Carlings AS, working until 2018. While in university, Henje took on the role of Tutor Coordinator at the Student Union of the University of Vaasa (VYY) for seven months in 2018. Beginning in 2019, they worked as an Analytics Trainee at BDO Finland for seven months. From 2019 to 2022, Henje worked at Retriever, starting as a Media Analyst and later becoming the Team Lead of Media Analysis. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Analysis and Data Insight at Retriever since August 2022.
Henje Huotari began their education at Lauttasaaren Yhteiskoulu, where they completed their upper secondary school from 2008 to 2011. Afterward, they attended the University of Vaasa and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Literature from 2014 to 2017. During their studies, Henje also participated in an Erasmus semester at the University of Vienna in 2016. Subsequently, they pursued further education at the University of Vaasa and obtained a Master of Arts in Technical and Scientific Communication from 2017 to 2019.
