Al Artus

Al Artus has over 35 years of work experience in the video game industry. Al began their career in 1981 as a Service Technician at Bally Midway / Aladdin's Castle. In 1986 they joined Sunsoft of America as a Co-producer, Hardware Engineer, and Warehouse Manager, where they were also a Component level digital repair technician and Co-Producer and manager for all game testing. Al then moved to Acclaim Studios Austin in 1994, where they were a Facilities Coordinator and Hardware Engineer. Finally, in 1999, they joined Retro Studios as a Facilities Manager.

Al Artus attended Devry Institute of Technology from 1981 to 1983, where they earned a Technical degree in Electrical Design and Digital Repair. In 2009, they obtained a Facilities Management Certificate from the Building Owners and Managers Institute.
