Senior Animator at Retro Studios

Kiko Buyo has worked in the animation industry since 2003. Kiko began their career at Cinematic Games as an Animator, followed by Terminal Reality in 2004. In 2005, they worked as a Contract Animator and Tech Artist at Liquid Development, and then as an Animator at Gearbox Software in 2006. From 2006 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Animator at Bioware Austin, where they animated and edited Mocap character locomotion, combat, and cut scenes. In 2012, they moved to KingsIsle Entertainment, where they animated unique character locomotion, combat, and cut scenes. In 2015, they worked as a Senior Animator for Retro Studios, Perihelion Interactive, and as a Freelancer, providing high quality animations for multiple games, and delivering skinned and rigged 3DsMax characters.

Kiko Buyo attended The Art Institutes from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained an Associates of Applied Science in Animation Arts and Design. Kiko also attended Animation Mentor, though the duration of their attendance is unknown.
