Leif Elgethun

Leif Elgethun has extensive experience in the energy industry. In 2008, they began their career as a Project EIT at Leavitt & Associates Engineers, Inc. In 2009, they worked as an Environmental Engineer E.E.I. at Clean Lakes, Inc. In 2010, they became a Managing Member at E-Newables, LLC. In 2011, they were a Managing Member at HydroGen Energy and a Senior VP at Site Based Energy, llc. In 2014, they became a Partner and Co-Founder at Intermountain Energy Partners, LLC. In 2016, they were a Senior Advisor at Bluebird Solar and Light and a Founder and CEO at Retrolux. In 2018, they became an Advisor at Sprout Energy, LLC. In 2020, they became a Co-Founder and Director at Safe Access.

Leif Elgethun completed a Masters of Engineering in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of Idaho in 2013. Prior to that, they earned a BSChemE, BSChem, and BSMATH from the University of Idaho between 1999 and 2005, with a focus in Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
