Duane Truax, CPSS, has extensive experience in the field of soil science and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Soil Scientist at RETTEW Associates, Inc. since August 2011, Duane previously held positions as a Soil Scientist 3 and Project Manager at Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates, Inc., where responsibilities included managing construction materials testing and geotechnical projects while overseeing a team of field technicians. Early career roles include Project Foreman at Pro Landscape and Spray Technician at Carlisle Country Club. Duane earned a Bachelor of Science in Soil Science and Turfgrass Science from Penn State University and has further education from Hagerstown Community College.
