Mihaela Gamala

Mihaela Gamala is a seasoned rheumatologist currently serving at Noordwest Ziekenhuisgroep since 2014, with roles including membership in the daily management board of the Rheumatology Department and the financial committee MSB. Mihaela holds leadership positions in the Dutch Society for Rheumatology as chair of the Professional Interests Committee and vice-chair of the board, along with membership in the Quality Assessment Committee. In addition, Mihaela is a member of the Medical Specialists Federation's Professional Interests Council and has been on the Board of the Medical Specialists Pension Fund since May 2022. Recently, Mihaela joined the Scientific Advisory Council of ReumaNederland. The educational background includes a PhD from Utrecht University, an MD from Maastricht University, and a Master's in Epidemiology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Additional qualifications include a Certified Pension Executive program from Erasmus University Rotterdam and pension training at Nyenrode Business Universiteit.
