Ben Shoemaker

Ben Shoemaker has a varied and extensive work experience, starting with their role as Admission Counselor at Otterbein University from 2002 to 2004. Ben then worked their way up through various positions at Otterbein University, including Assistant Director of Admission, Associate Director of Admission, Senior Associate Director of Admission / Data Analyst, Interim Director of Admission, and finally Director of Admission. During their time at Otterbein University, Ben was responsible for overseeing admissions operations, developing strategic initiatives, managing staff, and enrolling new students to generate significant tuition revenue for the institution.

In 2016, Ben joined Fire Engine RED as the Director of Enrollment Strategies and Solutions, where they were in charge of driving new leads and sales for Student Search and Fireworks CRM. Ben also supported clients with a consultative sales approach, advising them on industry best practices.

In 2022, Ben transitioned to Net Natives, where they served as the Senior Director of Enrollment Technology until 2023.

Currently, Ben holds the position of Director of University Partnerships at ReUp Education since 2023.

Ben Shoemaker obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Ohio University in 2000. Ben later pursued a Master's Degree in Education from the same university and completed it in 2002.
