Alexander Sommer

Alexander Sommer is an experienced professional in the fields of live events production, audio engineering, and broadcasting, currently serving as a Live Events Operator, Playout Director, and Audio Engineer at Sky since July 2024. In addition, Alexander is a Technical Team Member for live streaming at Encompass Digital Media, Inc. for Amazon Prime Video, and an On-Air Producer and Playout Director at Warner Bros. Discovery. Freelance work includes roles as an Audio Engineer and Technical Director at Reuters News Agency, overseeing the production of popular podcasts. Alexander also has extensive experience with event production, having worked with Tier 1 clients at FLETCHERWILSON and Encore. Prior positions include directing and producing live content for various TV channels, with a Bachelor’s degree in Cinematography and Audiovisual from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi.
