Catherine MacDonald

Catherine Macdonald is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in breaking news and foreign reporting. Currently serving as a Senior Breaking News Producer at Reuters News Agency since May 2008, Catherine previously held positions at BBC News from December 2002 to May 2008 and CNN from May 1998 to June 2002, where responsibilities included field producing and freelance foreign desk work. Additionally, Catherine operated as a freelance broadcast journalist and producer for various networks, including CNN, Sky News, and WTN, between December 1996 and April 1998. Academically, Catherine holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies - Social Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Political Science from Tufts University.
