Don Durfee

Don Durfee currently serves as the U.S. Foreign Policy Editor at Reuters News Agency since November 2022. Previously, Durfee held various roles at Reuters, including Managing Editor of News Strategy & Operations for the Americas and General Manager for North Asia, along with serving as the China and Hong Kong Bureau Chief. Prior to that, Durfee worked at The Economist as Editor-in-Chief of CFO Asia and Research Editor for CFO Magazine, and held the position of Senior Editor at The Economist Intelligence Unit. Academic credentials include a Master's of International Affairs from Columbia University, a Bachelor's degree in Classical Guitar from the New England Conservatory of Music, a BA in History from Tufts University, and brief studies at National Taiwan University and Nanjing University.
