Joy Malone, MFA, is an experienced photographer and educator currently serving as a Contract Photographer for The New York Times and Getty Images, and as an Assistant Adjunct Professor at St. John's University. With a career spanning since 2003 as Chief Photographer at Joy Malone Photography, Malone has also worked with Reuters News Agency and held photography instructor positions at Mount Vernon Family YMCA and Girl Scouts of Westchester, where skills in teaching B&W film techniques and organizing exhibitions were emphasized. Malone holds an MFA in Fine Art Photography from Academy of Art University and a BA in Philosophy and Photography from St. John's University.
