Nina Chestney

Nina Chestney is the Head of EMEA Power, Gas, Coal and Carbon at Reuters News Agency since September 2008. With a strong foundation in journalism and a background in covering energy, environment, and carbon markets, Nina has provided extensive coverage on a wide range of topics including renewable energy, clean technology, climate change, and environmental markets. Prior to their current role, Nina has held various positions in different news agencies and has covered topics such as EU competition policy, energy policy, pulp and paper industry, and economics and politics. Nina's educational background includes a First-class BA hons degree in Russian and Italian from the University of Birmingham and a merit PG diploma in newspaper journalism from the University of Central Lancashire.
