Xinghui Kok

Xinghui Kok has a strong background in journalism, starting their career as a journalist and sub-editor at TODAY from 2012 to 2014. Xinghui covered social and health beats and reported on notable stories such as the Little India riots and national universal insurance. Xinghui then joined The Straits Times as a journalist from 2014 to 2017, where they focused on social issues and gender topics, particularly within the LGBT community. Following that, they worked as a Senior Writer at The Edge Singapore from 2019 to 2019. Xinghui then joined South China Morning Post SCMP in 2017, taking on various roles including Contributing Writer, Singapore Reporter, Senior Reporter, and Asia Correspondent.
