Lucy Papachristou

Lucy Papachristou is a seasoned journalist currently serving as a Breaking News Correspondent for Reuters in Russia since January 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Social Media Manager at The Bell and an internship in Breaking News at Reuters. Lucy has also interned with Bloomberg News, Lighthouse Reports, and The Wall Street Journal, and worked as a Freelance Journalist and Editorial Assistant for n-ost. Previous experiences include serving as a Logistics Officer at Lighthouse Relief and a Staff Reporter at Outer Banks Voice. Lucy holds a Master's degree in Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and a Bachelor's degree in Russian Studies with a minor in Africana Studies from Carleton College. Additional studies were completed at Lomonosov Moscow State University.
