Munsif Vengattil

Munsif Vengattil currently serves as the India Tech Correspondent at Reuters, a position held since February 2022. Previously, Munsif worked as a Staff Writer for The Ken from April to November 2021, contributing to the publication's reputation for original and analytical journalism. Prior experience at Reuters included roles as Lead Reporter for Technology, Media, and Telecom from June 2017 to April 2021, where Munsif co-led a team covering significant tech industry news, including an exclusive report on Facebook's controversial AI project. Early career experience includes a position as a Reporter at The New Indian Express from June 2016 to February 2017. Munsif holds a Bachelor of Arts in Functional English from the University of Calicut and a Master of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Hyderabad.
