Vijdan Mohammad Kawoosa

Vijdan Mohammad Kawoosa is an experienced data and graphics journalist currently working at Reuters since October 2021. Previously, Vijdan served as a data journalist at BBC from February to September 2021 and at Hindustan Times from February 2018 to February 2021. Vijdan was also the founder and editor of JandK Now from 2009 to 2018 and held the position of sub-editor at Rising Kashmir in late 2017. Vijdan's early career includes internships at Hindustan Times, CNN-News18, and experience as an editor for the International Journal for Communication and Social Research. Vijdan holds a Master’s degree in Convergent Journalism from the Central University of Kashmir and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Amity University.
