Elizabeth Barbaree-Tasker

Elizabeth Barbaree-Tasker serves as the Chief of Finance & Administration at REV Birmingham since November 2012 and has been the Owner of Ironwood LLC since January 2000, where historic properties are maintained as high-quality rentals. Previous experience includes serving as the Executive Director of Main Street Birmingham, Inc. from November 2011 to November 2012, and as Owner/Consultant at Tasker, LLC from June 2008 to October 2011, specializing in asset-based planning, community development, and affordable housing consulting. Additionally, Elizabeth worked as a financial consultant at Censeo, Inc. focusing on affordable housing and taught a seminar at Auburn University Center for Architecture & Urban Studies on traditional neighborhood design principles. Prior to these roles, Elizabeth coordinated a regional visioning process at Region 2020, Inc., gathering citizen input for community development. Elizabeth holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Art and Interior Design from Auburn University, earned between 1988 and 1995.
