Patrick Short

Patrick Short is an accomplished Geographic Information Systems (GIS) professional with extensive experience across various roles in the field. Currently serving as the Geographic Information Systems Manager at REV Renewables since November 2022, Patrick leads initiatives in geographic data management, web mapping, and drone operations. Prior experience includes significant contributions at Magnolia River, where Patrick played a key role in transitioning to a new Utility Network model, and at Duke Energy Corporation, focusing on GIS mapping and spatial data analytics. Patrick has also developed drone operation programs and has held various positions in GIS analysis and support, beginning with internships at Marathon Petroleum Corporation and the Ohio Department of Transportation. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Cincinnati and a Vocational Diploma in the same field from Penta Career Center.
