Mauricio Benavides has a long and varied career in business. Mauricio began their career in 1998 as an Executive & Investor at Mabe Corporativo. In 2001, they became Vice President at General Electric, where they led capital allocation initiatives and invested in multiple industries, and was also certified as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt. In 2007, they were appointed CEO of Bancotel. In 2012, they became COO and Board Member of Ráv Worldwide. In 2015, they founded Imparable. In 2016, they founded Switch.mx, creating the first way to pay utility bills online in Mexico and scaling to over 2M customers in a year. In 2017, they founded neopolis and in 2018 they founded Metabase Q, a cybersecurity MSSP focused on next-gen technologies.

Mauricio Benavides obtained their MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management between 2005 and 2007, with a focus in Finance, General Management, and International. Mauricio also holds a Bachelor of Engineering - BE from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Industrial Engineering, and has studied Finance and General at Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México.
