Philip Curtis

Philip Curtis has extensive experience in the fields of music, care, and education. Currently, as an International Development professional at Embrace Nederland, Philip focuses on international cooperations involving music in healthcare, notably developing the 'Daily Dose of Music' Erasmus+ VET education programme. As Artistic Director, responsibilities include leading initiatives in music and healthcare, particularly for vulnerable groups. Philip's involvement with Revalidatie Friesland as a member of the CEReMD committee emphasizes the integration of music and rehabilitation. A self-employed opera singer, actor, and stage director since 1974, Philip has also held teaching positions at renowned institutions such as Prins Claus Conservatoire Groningen, Royal Conservatoire The Hague, and Hogeschool van Amsterdam, specializing in stage presentation and drama. Philip holds a BA in Music from the University of York.
