Shuhei Kato

Shuhei Kato has been working in the field of speech synthesis since 2013. Shuhei began their career as a Speech Synthesis Engineer at HOYA Service, where they researched and developed speech synthesis (TTS), working on both unit selection TTS and HMM-based TTS. In 2017, they worked as a Speech Synthesis Engineer at Hoya, and as a Research Assistant at the National Institute of Informatics in Japan, where they worked on rakugo speech synthesis. In 2019, they began working at \u682a\u5f0f\u4f1a\u793eRevComm, where they held the roles of Senior Research Engineer, Research Engineer, and Freelance.

Shuhei Kato has a comprehensive educational history. From 2007 to 2009, they attended The University of Tokyo and earned a College of Arts and Sciences degree in Natural Sciences I. From 2009 to 2011, they attended The University of Tokyo again and earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Department of Information and Communication Engineering. From 2011 to 2013, they attended The University of Tokyo again and earned a Master of Information Science and Technology degree in Information and Communication Engineering. Lastly, from 2016 to 2021, they attended The Graduate University for Advanced Studies and earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Informatics.
