Michael Montgomery

Michael Montgomery is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in investigative reporting and broadcast production. Currently serving as a Senior Reporter and Broadcast Producer at Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting since November 2009, Michael leads collaborations with major organizations while overseeing the award-winning radio program and podcast. Previously, Michael held notable positions, including Consulting Producer for "The Strike," a documentary about solitary confinement, and Special Correspondent at BBC, where a multi-platform investigation into human rights violations in Kosovo was executed. Throughout a career spanning over three decades, Michael has contributed to significant projects across various esteemed media outlets, including American Public Media Group, CBS News, and The Telegraph, and has laid a strong foundation in investigative journalism as a founding member of American RadioWorks. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree from Macalester College and was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Belgrade.
