Rachel de Leon

Rachel (Rae) de Leon is an experienced reporter and producer with a strong focus on investigative journalism, particularly in the areas of police accountability and violence against women and marginalized genders. Since January 2013, Rachel has worked at Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting, where significant roles have included Reporter and Producer, Video Producer, Coordinating Producer for Glassbreaker Films, Associate Producer, and Production Assistant. Prior to this, Rachel provided real-time captioning services at the National Center on Deafness, worked as a Production Assistant at Current TV, interned in Public Affairs and Video at NASA Dryden Flight Research Center, and served as a Videographer at Time Warner AV3. Rachel holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from California State University, Northridge.
