Chris Segesman has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps engineering and web development. Chris started their career as a Web Developer at BYU Continuing Education, where they managed and updated the web site using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and ColdFusion. Chris also gained experience in using REST/SOAP APIs and PHP to create a custom backend reporting solution.

Later, Chris worked at Brigham Young University as a Sysadmin, managing computer labs and fulfilling requests from students and teachers. Chris also served as the Head Teaching Assistant for the Web Programming class, providing support to students and setting up Linux and Windows VMs, and installing and using various web infrastructure tools.

Their next job was at Huron, where they held the position of Sr. DevOps Engineer. Their responsibilities included working with tools such as Puppet, Azure DevOps, Git, Chocolatey/Nuget, PowerShell, and Windows and Linux server administration. Chris also managed certain AWS services and collaborated with development teams to design agile solutions. Additionally, they worked as a Sr. Product Specialist at Huron, where they configured a revenue cycle tool using Microsoft tSQL and provided internal training.

Chris then joined IPRO as the Lead DevOps Engineer, where they continued to excel in the field. Currently, they are working at Reveal as a Lead DevOps Engineer, showcasing their expertise in this role.
