Rajeev Yadav

Rajeev Yadav, Ph.D. has extensive experience in various research and development roles. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Research Assistant at Concordia University and later as a Research Engineer at Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Concordia University, specializing in developing machine learning algorithms for identifying ictal activity in small animal epilepsy models.

In 2011, Yadav joined Leap Medical Inc as a Research Scientist before transitioning to a role as a Hyperspectral Imaging System Scientist in the CTO Group-Advanced Research at Genia Photonics Inc in 2012. At Genia Photonics, they were responsible for designing and testing complex fiber-based molecular imaging and spectroscopy systems for applications in neurosciences, pharmaceuticals, and defense industries. During this time, they also developed software tools and algorithms for molecular spectroscopy and hyperspectral imaging.

In 2013, Yadav worked as an Associate Editor at Circuits, Systems, and Signal Processing, followed by joining the Canadian Medical and Biological Engineering Society as a Committee Member in 2011.

In 2015, they joined ODS Medical as a Senior Principal Scientist. Rajeev played a key role in leading product design and development and managing data generated during product development.

Yadav's most recent experience is with Reveal Surgical, where they hold the position of R&D Director since December 2018. In this role, they are responsible for the complete lifecycle of product development, from concept to commercialization, and is involved in all aspects of product design and development, including data storage and security.

Rajeev Yadav, Ph.D. has an extensive educational background in the field of engineering. Rajeev obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Signal Processing, Pattern Recognition, and Biomedical Engineering from Concordia University. Prior to that, they pursued Graduate Studies in Biomedical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where they specialized in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, Machine Learning, and Medical Devices.

Earlier in their academic career, Rajeev completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Electronics at Deendayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University. Rajeev had also acquired a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in electronics from the same university.

In addition to their academic achievements, Rajeev holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance, obtained in the year 2021.
