Tong Zhang

Tong Zhang is a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Revecore since September 2025. Previously, Tong was employed at Afiniti from June 2017 to September 2025, where roles included Staff Research Scientist in Applied AI, Lead Research Scientist, Senior Research Scientist, Senior Data Scientist, and Data Scientist. During the academic tenure at Northeastern University, from January 2012 to April 2017, Tong served as a Course Instructor for a graduate course in Statistics with R for Bioinformatics and also took on roles such as Math Research Advisor and Statistician. Tong's experience includes a summer internship as a Market Risk Analyst at MetLife in 2012 and 2013. Tong holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science, both from Northeastern University.
