AJ Arem has extensive work experience in the sports industry. They started their career as a Ticket Manager and Facility Coordinator at the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 2006-2007. They then joined UCF Athletics Association Inc. as the Director of Sales-Premium and Suites, where they focused on premium sales, ticket sales, and donations from 2007 to 2011.
In 2011, AJ became the General Manager at the University of Tennessee, where they led and trained the sales staff, built relationships with athletic administration and the Knoxville community, and maximized revenue streams until 2012.
From 2013 to 2016, AJ worked as the Regional Manager, Southeast at LEARFIELD Amplify, closely collaborating with athletic department senior administrators to develop sales strategies and ticket packages for Division 1 athletic departments. They then took on the role of Regional Director from 2016 to 2017 and Regional Vice President from 2017 to 2019 at the same company. During this time, they played a key role in the company's growth and worked closely with several Power Five schools.
AJ's most recent role was as the Vice President of National Partnerships at LEARFIELD Amplify from 2019 to 2022. In this position, they oversaw the operations of a partner business with over 200 employees, generating over $150 million annually in ticket, premium, and donation revenue. They were also responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and achieving company EBITDA goals.
Currently, AJ is the Senior Vice President at REVELxp, where they contribute to the creation and leadership of the ticket revenue generation vertical for the company. They have been instrumental in securing new partnerships and continue to play a crucial role in the company's success.
AJ Arem graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness. Later, from 2004 to 2006, AJ pursued a Master's degree in Sports Management from the University of Florida.
