Mike Marut

Mike Marut has a diverse work experience in journalism and communication. Mike has worked with companies including Revenova, CompanyWeek, KVUE MEDIA, KTVL-News Channel 10, The Cube - Share Events, WBOY, Big Ten Network, CBS Radio, and The Quad. Mike'sroles range from being a Marketing Communication Specialist to a Morning News Anchor/Reporter and from a Broadcaster/Producer/Cameraman to a Sports Editor and Columnist. Mike has extensive experience in creating, producing, editing, and broadcasting content for various media platforms. Mike has also developed community relationships and expanded the reach of the companies they have worked with.

From 2012 to 2016, Mike Marut attended Northwestern University where they studied Broadcast Journalism. Mike has since obtained several certifications, including Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, Equity First: The Path to Inclusion and Belonging, Graphic Design Foundations: Layout and Composition, How to Research and Write Using Generative AI Tools, and Google Analytics for Beginners. These certifications were earned in April 2023 from LinkedIn and Google Career Certificates.
