Daryl Bagley has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Daryl started their career as a Systems Analyst at J.C. Penney Corporation in 1993 and later moved on to become a Lead Software Developer at Verizon Communications, Inc. (formerly GTE) in 1995. Daryl then worked as a Senior Software Developer at VisualFlex Software, Inc. from 1999 to 2001.
In 2001, Daryl joined Catalina Health Resource, a former division of Catalina Marketing, as a Programmer Analyst. Daryl worked there until 2003.
Daryl then joined Revenue Management Solutions in 2003 and has been serving as the Director of IT Operations. Revenue Management Solutions is a leader in data-based pricing and menu optimization for restaurants and has a global presence.
Alongside their career in IT, Daryl also has experience in education. Daryl currently works as an Adjunct Instructor at both the University of South Florida and the State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota since 2020 and 2022, respectively.
In addition to their IT and teaching roles, Daryl is also a Co-Founder of TechPlayzone, which provides STEM-focused summer camps and actively supports FIRST Robotics.
Overall, Daryl Bagley has a solid background in IT operations, software development, and teaching, with experience in various industries including retail, marketing, and education.
Daryl Bagley obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business Analytics & Information Systems at the University of South Florida from 2017 to 2018.
Daryl Bagley has also obtained various certifications, including the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals, PCEP – Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer from the OpenEDG Python Institute, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, and the Post-Crisis Leadership Certificate, among others. They have also completed online courses such as R Programming and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox through Coursera Verified Certificates. Additionally, Daryl holds certifications from Microsoft, including MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, Analyzing Requirements and Defining Solution Architectures, Designing and Implementing Desktop Applications with Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, and Microsoft Visual Basic 5.0 Programming.
