Barbara Alonso has a diverse work experience. In 2016, they were a Digital Designer at Designit, a global strategic design company, where they participated in projects in every part of the design process. Barbara also worked as a Freelance Product Designer and VR Developer for the 40th Anniversary Apollo 11. From 2019-2022, they were a Student at Harvard University, obtaining their Master's Degree in Design Engineering. During this time, they also served as a Teaching Fellow for MS/MBA Design Theory and Practice at Harvard Business School. In 2020, they were a Design Lead for the Data Visualization Program at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Currently, they are a Product Designer at RevenueCat.
Barbara Alonso has a diverse educational background. In 2012, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Design from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. From 2014 to 2015, they completed a Motion Graphics Degree (160 hours) at Trazos. In 2018, they were awarded a Beca de Posgrado América del Norte o Asia-Pacífico from the Fundación "la Caixa". In 2011, they obtained the C2 Proficiency from the University of Cambridge. In 2019, they completed a MIT Media Lab Graduate Course: Can Space Enabled Designs Advance Justice and Development? at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's Degree in Design Engineering (GSD & SEAS) at Harvard University, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
