Jim Tuerk

Director, Business Development at Reverb

Jim Tuerk is currently the Director of Business Development at Reverb. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager for Social Media and Branding at Greenleaf Music from August 2007 to January 2014. Jim was responsible for leading strategic calls with publicists, sales teams, and cross-coordinating with US/international distributor networks. Jim also led the rebranding of the company website, integrating clean, concise CSS and HTML with a progressive social strategy. Additionally, they spearhead the development of two iPhone/iPad mobile apps using a licensed CMS with integrated feeds, monetizing content, and push notifications. Furthermore, they managed a targeted profiling email program, including creative, scheduling, and reporting. Lastly, they budgeted, targeted, and deployed Facebook ads promoting client/company pages and community. Jim was also the creative director providing oversight of all merchandise and promotions.

Before working in project management, Jim was a freelance project manager from January 2007 to December 2014. Jim was also a guitarist, bassist, and producer for various companies from October 2005 to June 2014.

Jim Tuerk attended DePaul University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Music/Business.

They work with Kevin Drost - Chief Strategy Officer, Jason Wain - Chief Technology Officer, and Kyle Crum - Director, Engineering. Jim Tuerk reports to David Mandelbrot, Chief Executive Officer.
