Matthew Dartez has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and academia. ๐ฎ๐น Matthew currently holds the position of Director of Engineering at Reverb since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a part-time Professor of DevOps/Soft. Engineering at CalTech from July 2020. Before that, they served as the Director of DevOps and Infrastructure Engineering at Kyriba from September 2019 to April 2022. In this role, they focused on automating cloud architectures and ensuring the delivery of SaaS products to customers worldwide. ๐ฎ๐น Matthew'sexpertise includes orchestration, immutable infrastructure, and engineering stability activities, utilizing technologies such as Terraform, Chef, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD. ๐ฎ๐น Matthew has experience working with hybrid datacenters, with a particular emphasis on AWS and vSphere.
Matthew Dartez has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Software Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. ๐ฎ๐น Matthew also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Systems from Florida Institute of Technology. Matthew received their Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Louisiana Tech University. Additionally, they completed U.S Army Signals Training in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. ๐ฎ๐น Matthew also attended U.S. Army Adjutant School. Matthew has obtained several certifications, including ASEP (Re-Cert/Post Grad) from INCOSE, VCA5-DCV, VCP5-DCV, and VCP4-DCV from VMware, MCSE (US Army) from Microsoft, and Certified Systems Engineer - System Design from IEEE. ๐ฎ๐น Matthew also has certifications in Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Support Specialist and Jave/JVM/Eclipse Developer Certification - Security, both from the US Army. Matthew's additional certifications also include VCAP4-DCA,DCD from VMware.
