Chris Shen

Chris Shen has worked in various roles in the venture capital industry since 2014. In 2014, they began their career as an angel investor for various syndicates. In 2016, they became the Founding Partner (Non-Executive), Managing Partner, General Counsel and IC Member, and Managing Partner, COO and IC Member for West 22nd Capital Advisers. In 2019, they became an Advisor for Zectr, Partner and RO and Venture Partner for BridgeWood, and Venture Partner for Global Public Offering Fund. Additionally, they became an Advisory Board Member for FiscalNote and an Advisor for Booqed. In 2020, they became Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer for Revere and Co-Founder & Managing Shareholder for Decentralized.io, as well as Venture Partner and Managing Director and RO for LQ Pacific Partners.

Chris Shen's education history includes completing an Intensive Mandarin Chinese Language Program at National Taiwan University in 2009, a Juris Doctor at South Texas College of Law Houston from 2003 to 2006, a Bachelor of Arts in Theirtory/Government (Dual Major) at The University of Texas at Austin from 1999 to 2003, and attending Strake Jesuit College Preparatory from 1995 to 1999. Chris also holds certifications from the Securities and Futures Commission as a Responsible Officer (Type 1, 4, 9) obtained in March 2020, from the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute for Papers 1, 2 and 6 obtained in January 2019, from the State Bar of Texas as an Attorney and Counselor obtained in November 2006, and from The Law Society of Hong Kong as a Registered Foreign Lawyer obtained in June 2008.
