Richard Matthews DC DACNB FACFN has been in the healthcare industry for over 30 years. Richard began their career in 1990 as a Chiropractic Neurologist at Matthews Chiropractic Neurology, where they provided evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of functional neurologic syndromes such as sciatica, vertigo, migraines, ADHD and stroke or traumatic brain injury rehabilitation. Richard also applied brain based therapies structured to elicit plasticity in areas of the neuraxis prone to dysfunction. In 2015, they became self-employed as a Chiropractic Neurologist at Center for Integrative Chiropractic Neurology, where they evaluated and diagnosed patients with functional neurologic problems, developed and implemented treatment plans including aspects of brain plasticity stimulation and rehabilitation, and provided DOT physicals for commercial drivers. Richard also evaluated gut bacterial populations and recommended strategies to balance the microbiome for better immune and brain function. In 2021, they became a Chiropractic Neurologist, Health Consultant, and Business Owner at NeuroDoc4u Functional Wellness Solutions, where they provided virtual video conferencing healthcare, coordinated labwork drop-shipped to patient residence, and an online store for health supplements or related supplies. Richard has also integrated marketing websites that provide direct patient access to labwork, consultation scheduling and product ordering as well as marketing funnels to drive traffic to these sites. In 2022, they began working as a Content Creator for both Revero and Rupa.

Richard Matthews DC DACNB FACFN has an educational history that spans nearly two decades. Richard obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from Stony Brook University in 1985. Richard then attended Parker College of Chiropractic, where they received their Doctor of Chiropractic in 1990. In 1998, they completed their Diplomate American Chiropractic Neurology Board in Functional Neurology from the Carrick Institute of Education. In 2002, they were awarded the Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board and was granted the FACFN designation in 2020.
