Maya Parshotam

Maya Parshotam has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent position was as a Relationship Associate / Business Development Associate at Reverside Software Solutions, where they began working in March 2012. Prior to this, Maya held the role of Service Desk Administrator at Dimension Data from May 2010 to February 2012. Maya also worked at Business Connexion as a Service Desk employee from May 2008 to April 2010.

Maya's earlier work experience includes being a Telesales Agent for AIG Life SA from November 2007 to February 2008, and a lecturer in IT at Icesa College from March 2006 to March 2007. Maya also worked as part of the service desk team at Microsoft SA from September 2003 to April 2005.

Before starting their career in the IT industry, Maya worked as a Radio Presenter at East Wave Radio from December 1999 to December 2004. Prior to that, they held the role of Call Desk Administrator at Comparex Africa from August 2002 to July 2003. Maya's early career also includes positions as a Data Capturer at Liberty Life from April 1998 to December 1998, and at Auto & General from January 1998 to February 1998.

Maya Parshotam began their education at Nirvana Secondary School from 1991 to 1995, where they completed their Matric degree. In 1997, they attended Progressive Systems College for a brief period, specializing in Introduction to Making Money from Shares, specifically in the field of buying and selling shares. From 2000 to 2002, Maya pursued further education at the National Institute of Information Technology, obtaining a Professional Diploma in Network Centered Computing.
