John Oakley

John Oakley has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. John is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Director at REVIAN since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at EmitBio Inc. starting from June 2022. Before that, they held the role of Chief Operating Officer and CFO at KNOW Bio, LLC from March 2023 and July 2017 respectively. John also served as the CFO at Vast Therapeutics from July 2017. Before joining KNOW Bio and Vast Therapeutics, they worked at Cleaver-Brooks as the Chief Financial Officer from September 2013 to July 2017. Prior to that, they held various leadership roles such as President, CFO, and Director at Flanders Corporation and SVP & CFO at Flanders Filter Inc. from January 2009 to April 2013. John also worked as the CFO at Nexxus Lighting from May 2007 to January 2009. Additionally, they served as the CFO and Director at Home Meridian International from May 2006 to May 2007, and as SVP and CFO at Pulaski Furniture Corp. from November 2001 to May 2006.

John Oakley attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting. Prior to their time at UNC Charlotte, they studied at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1985 to 1987, although they did not complete a degree. John received their high school education at Oneal School and Wallace O'Neal Day School from 1981 to 1985, with no specified degree or field of study.
