Dexter Hopen

Dexter Hopen is a private equity investor and board member who specializes in tech-enabled and software businesses. Dexter is currently a board member at Revinate.

Hopen began their career as an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley, where they worked in the Global Transportation & Logistics Group. Dexter then transitioned to private equity, working as a summer analyst at Morgan Stanley before moving on to Serent Capital, where they were a principal for nine years.

At Serent Capital, Hopen focused on investments in middle-market companies. Dexter then transitioned to board work, serving on the boards of Revinate, Book4Time Inc., SHR, Sceptre Hospitality Resources, LLC, Motility Software Solutions, BirchStreet Systems, CallRevu, Knowland, Compeat Restaurant Management Software, GDS Link, LLC, and Mercury Network, LLC.

Dexter Hopen has a Bachelor of Science from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, with a concentration in Finance and Statistics. Dexter also participated in a study abroad program at New York University in Prague.
