Nick Fernald is the Founder and CEO of Revision Learning, a company dedicated to enhancing storytelling skills for high school juniors and seniors through patented technology, interactive workshops, and personalized feedback on writing drafts. In addition to leading Revision Learning since January 2023, Nick serves as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University, focusing on how people learn in a 7-week online course. At Brown University, Nick has held multiple instructor positions in the Summer@Brown program, including roles in the Leadership Institute and the Language in Context program. Previous experience includes academic coaching, tutoring, and consulting at Signet Education, as well as a range of roles at Story2, Teach Plus, Waltham Public Schools, and Fulbright Colombia. Nick holds a Master of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Master of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Middlebury College, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
