Michael Sabbia has a strong background in marketing and brand management. Michael is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at Revision Skincare® since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Galderma from March 2020 to October 2022, where they served as the Senior Director, Current Business, HCP Marketing, and Innovation. In this role, they doubled the net sales of a 75-year-old brand and achieved the #4 brand in Skincare. Michael also managed a team of 12 and aligned the leadership to a new organizational structure to achieve growth targets.
Before Galderma, Michael worked at Walgreens Boots Alliance as the Global Brand Director, Haircare from February 2017 to April 2018. Prior to that, they were the Director of Beauty Marketing at Walgreens from June 2015 to January 2017. In this role, they were responsible for developing the category vision and strategies, joint vendor marketing creation, media and creative agency relationships, and Owned Brand marketing strategies and integration for Walgreens Beauty and Personal Care business unit.
Michael's earlier experience includes working at Procter & Gamble, where they held various roles from 2011 to 2015. Michael was the Senior Brand Manager, Global Gillette Strategy from July 2014 to March 2015, where they had full accountability for global innovation and commercialization for Gillette Deodorants and Personal Cleansing. Michael also led the Old Spice Hair and Head & Shoulders brands in North America, managing P&L responsibilities and leading multi-functional business teams.
Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated the ability to drive growth, manage teams, and develop successful marketing strategies for leading skincare, haircare, and personal care brands.
Michael Sabbia has a Bachelor of Science degree in Org Behavior Mgt, Operations Mgt., and Decision Sciences from Miami University. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself from LinkedIn in October 2022.
