David Kovel has a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare technology and information systems. David is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at ReviveHealth since October 2020. Prior to that, they were the President of 2200 Health Tech, where they were recognized as a health information system domain expert and served in various roles related to IT management, systems integration, data warehousing, and strategic architecture design.
From 2016 to 2020, David worked as the CIO at Continuum Health Alliance, where they developed technology roadmap and support services for client medical practices and partner ACO organizations. David led a team that delivered clinical, revenue cycle, and population health systems to ambulatory physician clientele. During their tenure, they successfully launched Consensus Medical Group on an integrated AthenaOne platform.
David also served as a Board Member at Partners in Care, Corp., a New Jersey provider network and healthcare management company. During their time there, the company achieved a $2M+ 2018 MSSP Savings payout for its members.
In 2006, David co-founded Sage Growth Partners, LLC, a research, strategy, and marketing consulting firm focused on healthcare growth companies. As the Chief Information Officer, they initiated foundational activities and served the informational and technology needs of the company across various sectors in the healthcare industry. David was with the company until 2019.
Additional roles David held include Interim CIO positions at Gonzaba Medical Group in 2015, EPIC Management, LP in 2014, and Katzen Eye Group in 2012. David also served as the CIO/Operations Manager at DCIPA/Architrave, a physician-led organization and county contractor of the Oregon Health Plan.

David Kovel received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 1985 to 1987. David further pursued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science in Information Systems from 2002 to 2006. Prior to their time at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, David also attended The University of New Mexico from 1983 to 1985, where they focused on BioMedical Engineering, although they did not obtain a degree.
