Jacob Barger

Jacob Barger began their work experience in 2019 at Cass Information Systems, where they served as an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineer. In this role, they laid the foundation for automation and AI development within the organization. Jacob conducted research and development of NLP and OCR pipelines, utilizing Azure cloud infrastructure and open source libraries. Jacob also provided clear insights to leadership on the progress, timelines, and costs of opportunities within the business automation space.

In 2021, Barger joined Daugherty Business Solutions as a Data Science Consultant. Jacob built and deployed custom fuel price optimization models for fuel stations across the US. Jacob captured and analyzed model performance using visual tools to communicate the technical process and impact on margin to stakeholders. Jacob also advised on methods and technologies to enhance data transfer, ingestion, and transformation, including the utilization of Azure Data Factory and Snowflake.

At the same time, in 2021, Barger took on a role as an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.

Most recently, in 2022, Barger joined Revol Greens as a Data Scientist. Jacob oversaw all data-driven IT development, including architecting data pipelines, modeling, and analytics. Jacob led a team of Data Scientists and Engineers to efficiently execute projects and meet deadlines.

Jacob Barger pursued their education in the field of Computer Science. Jacob completed their Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis from 2015 to 2019. Following this, they enrolled in the same university to pursue a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, which they completed from 2019 to 2020.
