Leyla Sultanova

Leyla Sultanova is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in data analysis, numerical simulations, and research, currently employed at Revolut since July 2022. Prior to this, Leyla worked at Vendigital and Pivigo where significant projects included optimizing client portfolios and data manipulation using advanced Python techniques. Leyla's research background includes a role as a Research Fellow at WMG, University of Warwick, where work involved solid-state battery development and collaboration with leading industrial partners. Leyla has a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Mathematics from Keele University and has dual Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Aerospace Engineering from Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Additionally, Leyla's earlier experience includes roles in design engineering and stress analysis within the aerospace sector, complemented by secondments at Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
