Jim Zhang

Jim Zhang serves as the Vice President of Analytical Development and Quality Control at Revolution Medicines since 2025. Previously, Jim held the position of Vice President and Head of CMC at Olema Oncology from 2021 to 2025, overseeing multiple oncology program developments and regulatory filings. Earlier roles include Sr. Director at Zogenix, Inc., where Jim directed CMC and analytical development, and at Menlo Therapeutics Inc., leading analytical development and NDA filings. Jim's career includes significant contributions at Pfizer (L-Medivation), Alexza Pharmaceuticals, Gilead Sciences, and Infinity Pharmaceuticals in various leadership capacities focused on analytical development, quality control, and compliance. Jim holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master's from Peking University, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of California, San Francisco.
