Lacey Henschel

Lacey Henschel is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in building and modernizing systems using technologies such as Django, Docker, and Wagtail at Revolution Systems since October 2017. Lacey has contributed to the development of technical articles and has presented at notable conferences, including DjangoCon US and Wagtail Space US. Previously, Lacey served as an organizer for DjangoCon US from 2015 to 2022, holding various roles including Conference Chair. Lacey's background also includes a senior software engineering position and IT training at The University of Texas at Austin, where responsibilities included documentation development and training developers in web technologies. Lacey earned a Master of Arts in English from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Auburn University.
