Ruth Brignall

Ruth Brignall currently serves as the Director of Scientific Affairs at Revvity, having joined the company in April 2024. Prior to this, Ruth held various roles at Oxford Immunotec from April 2019 to September 2025, including Global Scientific Affairs Manager and US Medical Manager, where responsibilities involved aligning scientific scope with commercial strategy and managing medical teams. As a Global Scientific Advisor, Ruth provided medical support for projects including a new SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic product and developed educational content for commercial teams and external stakeholders. Ruth’s earlier experience includes roles as a Medical Science Liaison at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and postdoctoral research fellow at both Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School. Ruth completed a PhD in Immunology at The University of Manchester, where Ruth also participated in professional internships focused on public engagement in science. Ruth began academic studies with a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Biology at The University of Manchester.
