Victor Ocasio-Ramirez

Victor Ocasio-Ramirez, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in the field of cell analysis and molecular microbiology, currently serving as a Senior Field Application Scientist at Revvity since May 2023, focusing on high content screening and analysis. Prior to this role, Victor held various positions at PerkinElmer, including Field Application Scientist for Nexcelom Bioscience, following the acquisition in June 2021, and contributed to sales support and instrument demonstrations. Earlier experience includes significant research roles at Duke University, exploring host-pathogen interactions and teaching responsibilities at Elon University. Victor's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology from UT Southwestern Medical Center and a B.S. in Industrial Biotechnology from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
