Kent MacDonald

Kent MacDonald serves as the Vice President of Technology at REW since September 2021, previously holding positions as Director of Data & Business Intelligence and Technical Product Owner for Data. Prior to REW, Kent worked as a Data Engineer at Ingrooves Music Group from April 2020 to September 2021. Kent's earlier experience includes roles at Visier Inc. from January 2018 to April 2020, where responsibilities included Data Management Engineer positions, and a stint as a Data Scientist at the Centre for Gambling Research at UBC. In addition, Kent worked as a Research Assistant at the same center, developing image recognition software and preparing ethics applications. Kent's career began as a Community Support Worker and Summer Student at Semiahmoo House Society from April 2013 to August 2014. Kent holds a degree from the University of Victoria, completed in 2016, and graduated from Elgin Park Secondary in 2017.
